On Saturday, 3 May 2025, we held the second and penultimate session for Cohort One of the Level Up Mentorship Program. The masterclass, titled “Level Up Your Brand: The Art of Communication and Presence,” was a dynamic and enriching experience focused on empowering students and early-career professionals to show up with clarity, confidence, and intention.
This session explored the powerful progression from confidence to personal branding to communication—illustrating how knowing your worth, articulating your value, and influencing others are deeply interconnected. Participants engaged deeply with reflective questions, group discussions, and practical exercises designed to help them craft compelling personal brand statements and elevator pitches.
We examined the elements of effective communication—both verbal and non-verbal—highlighting the importance of body language, cultural awareness, and listening skills. Communication styles were unpacked with relatable examples, prompting attendees to reflect on how they show up and how they want to be remembered.
The breakout sessions were especially impactful, allowing each participant to receive real-time feedback and refine their delivery. The energy, vulnerability, and growth displayed were truly inspiring, and it’s clear that this cohort is on a remarkable journey of personal and professional transformation.
